/PRODUCTS RELEASE: FIRST SERIES AND CUSTOM READY-TO-ROLL

 

We have offered two new possibilities for your Flaneurz detachable roller skates.

 

/First series: Revealed in May 2018, this new series has made a remarkable starting. At Flaneurz, you have a choice of three rolling part types. After Iconic and Premium ones, we launched First to answer requests. Accessible, stable, comfortable, monochrome, this series is suitable for skaters wishing to learn roller skating in optimal conditions. It is composed of an injected plastic plate with an important distance between the front and the back wheels as well as with wide trucks offering more stability. The wheels are suitable for all types of floors.


/Custom Ready-to-Roll: During our Kickstarter in May 2015, we started the customisation adventure. After this first success, we launched Change your Shoes Custom. In September, we proposed to transform your personal shoes and to customize your own rolling part (color of the edging, the wheels, the plate or the front brake) with the Ready-to-Roll Custom pack.

/THREE UNIVERSE, THREE CAMPAIGNS

 

Glitter capsule: “Make those you cross path with have sparkle in their eyes”

Glitter capsule is released in March. This exclusive Flaneurz detachable roller skates model is composed of a Veja V-10 Glitter pair, several layers of ultrafine silver glitter on Sure Grip Rock plate and on the edge of the Flaneurz’ chassis, and luminous wheels. This model is sold out.

Spring-Summer 2018 / Faraway: “Summer lives faraway, toward new horizons”

On May 15, our new Faraway collection is born, with eight new Ready-to-Roll and Change your Shoes Collection models. This travel theme campaign has projected you in four universes with your Flaneurz detachable roller skates.

/COLLABORATIONS

 

/Reebok x Flaneurz

In October, we collaborated with Reebok. On the basis of  Reebok Aztrek OG, we imagined a rolling part adapted to this sports shoe by combining Iconic and Premium series. At Reebok Megastore, we organized a roller skating day and good vibes. After 6 workshops made by Flaneurz ambassadors, we shared a 90’s party. Find the video here.

This Reebok x Flaneurz capsule of detachable roller skates is on sale only on our website, in 12 copies. Some models are still available.



/Puma x Flaneurz

During fall time, Puma proposed a new color for its Cali sneaker. With them, we designed detachable roller skates to celebrate California. Offered with a First rolling part, this pair of Puma x Flaneurz delighted the influencers at the private #CaliRollerParty on last 7th of November.

The shoes transformation is our expertise. We bring added value by offering a new feature to your favorite pair. Prestigious brands are asking us to equip their iconic models. Since a few months, we also collaborate with a famous French luxury brand...

/SPORT GATHERINGS

 

This year, Flaneurz met roller skates athletes. Present at the World Men’s Roller Derby Championships in Barcelona last April, we were also at the Artistic Skating World Championships in Vendée, in October. During these operations, the success of our detachable roller skates doesn’t stop….

 

/COMMUNICATION

 

/Open house day

We organized few open house days in our Sk8Lab. This allows you to discover our production line and steps for making your pair thanks to our savoir-faire exposition (“exploded view” of Flaneurz skates). In addition to discussing about your expectations and needs, you can clip/unclip with the Clique members before leaving with your favorite detachable roller skates.

Since a few months, we open our agenda so that you can choose your rendez-vous from Monday to Friday.

 

/Launching parties and pop-up store

Each collection launching parties is follow by a pop-up store to allow you to join the Clique. We have invested W Paris - Opéra many times: for the launch of our Glitter capsule at Brûlé (private cocktail bar), the First series and the Custom Ready-to-Roll offer for the Roller Week.

In May, we also traveled to Bordeaux within Darwin, L'Éco-système to present our Faraway collection.

Whether at Galeries Lafayette for our concept store, at the Concorde Atlantique to make you roll the time of an evening, La Recyclerie to make you dance at the apéros skates or at La Montgolfière for our Christmas pop-up store, we are proud to have skated by your side.

/AMBASSADORS 

 

Flaneurz ambassadors are our beta-testers and our representatives. New ambassadors joined us this year.

 

/Alexis Contin
Equipped with Ready-to-Roll Custom Premium pack, Alexis Contin joins the Clique in October 2018. Specialized in speed skating, Alexis is an international medalist. His career took him to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.

 

/Anthony Finocchiaro
A multi-disciplinary skate who started with aggressive skating, Anthony has been with us for several months. Fila Cage Socks at the feet, he walks the streets of Barcelona, Los Angeles, Paris, with his detachable roller skates.

 

/Najete Kada
Najete is a figure skating medalist, SkateXpress collective member and also coach in the Brie-Comte-Robert club for the artistic section. After several victories on the French circuit, Najete competed internationally.

 

/Amandine Etelage
Amandine is a SkateXpress collective member and Miss'ile association vice-president, a roller dance group honoring women. This Parisian roller dancer impels the desire to dance on roller.


We are proud to welcome them alongside Laurence Sabas, Jean-Marc Gravier, Poupa and Chloé Seyres.

/PRODUCTION

 

The production of your detachable roller skates takes place in our Sk8Lab. The Clique manufactures, creates and ships your orders internationally.
We work with partners with great expertise in their fields:  Roll Line, Sure Grip, Kryptonics or Sidas and 3M. These companies offer technical solutions from the high-tech industry.
With the First series launch, we chose to collaborate with the Rio Roller brand for plate.

 

/SOCIETY

 

Flaneurz adventure is first you and us! It is also many partners and structures: La Pépinière de la Courneuve, Initiative Plaine Commune, BPI ... We also respond to external requests. For example, Johanna Sanchez-Laurenté, communication and chief happiness officer, hosted a conference on "Happy Management" for ISCOM. Florian Gravier, co-founder, took part in events to share his entrepreneurial experience at Première Vision IFM (The Meetings of Made in France), Société Générale Entrepreneur at the Salon des Entrepreneurs. In addition, he was elected ambassador "In Seine Saint-Denis" for his contribution to the dynamism of the territory.

Clique is also eager to animate happenings on rollers to promote cohesion and sharing within companies. We initiated the Talents of W Paris - Opéra in June and we visited the “Trublions of taste” at Banana Farm (Michel and Augustin) last September.

Since September, we have also launched a B2B event offer.

Our first product, the detachable roller skates, meets city challenges. And, other projects motivate us. We need additional financial resources to fullfil the demand, which internationalizes and diversifies.
