OUR ASSOCIATION: THE FLANEURZ ROLLER SKATING CLUB  

Since its creation in 2014, and established in Pantin since August 2020, Flaneurz acts to introduce as many people as possible to the sensations provided by quad roller skating. The Team notably organizes numerous events.

In response to their growing success, an association was born: "the Flaneurz Roller Skating Club of Pantin," led by Najete Kada, French champion of figure skating.

His goal: to share the passion and values of quad roller skating by organizing events on one hand, and offering roller skating classes open to everyone on the other hand.

Courses for everyone

The Flaneurz Roller Skating Club of Pantin was founded in September 2020. Introducing the joy of gliding sensations to both young and old has always been in Flaneurz's DNA.

Najete: "With this association, we aim to create a structure that reflects our image: modern, innovative, and dynamic. Our goal: to make quad roller skating accessible and fun. Thus, the Flaneurz Roller Skating Club in Pantin welcomes those curious about skating, whether in Flaneurz shoes or traditional quad rollers, beginners or experienced skaters, starting from age 4."

Values to Share

The values that the association aims to promote around the practice of quad roller skating are as much sports-related, cultural, as they are social.

Conveying sports values:

The team at the Flaneurz Roller Skating Club in Pantin is made up of passionate professionals who are dedicated to sharing the values that quad roller skating embodies: teamwork, perseverance, and self-improvement. In the medium term, by offering group classes in a gym in Pantin and roller skating lessons in Paris, the association also aims to train the athletes of tomorrow.

Sharing a culture: 

Najete: "The practice of quad roller skating embodies a strong culture, bringing together people from very different backgrounds around a shared passion. It is a sport associated with a very broad musical culture: funk, disco, the electro, hip-hop... The identity of the community is often expressed through a bold and creative clothing style.”

When we talk about quad skating, the spectrum is wide: derby, artistic skating, roller dance, hockey, urban commuting…

Maintaining social ties:

It is precisely because Flaneurz is committed to highlighting the wealth and talents that abound in the Parisian suburbs that it has set up its offices in Pantin, as well as its shop. Participating in local outreach, providing opportunities for meetings for the residents of Pantin and other Ile-de-France inhabitants is part of the same intention.

Najete: "The skating club is often seen as a second family. Bringing young people together, especially around this sport, conveys a great social richness. That is our ambition."

Najete: "Our fleet of 160 pairs of rental skates, accompanied by our quality staff, allows us to immediately offer a complete package that can be adapted to demand. Additionally, we will soon have a modular rink (by the end of 2021). We want to create moments of togetherness, to see everyone dancing or gliding to music until the end of the night. This is what the regular roller party that the association plans to organize will allow."
