Once the components are manufactured, they need to be assembled. For every order placed, this operation takes place in France in Caen. Initially, the mechanical parts are assembled onto the chassis. Next, the wheels and the chassis are mounted onto the plate. Finally, after verifying that the shoe and the rolling base have no defects, our operators hook and unhook them several times. This final step is essential to ensure that the system functions correctly. The Slades roller shoe and its unhooking key are then placed in their French packaging, made of 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard.

Based in Caen, the Factory is the workshop where the Slades take shape. A place where quality roller shoes are created for Sladers around the world. First, the mechanical parts are assembled onto the chassis. Next, the wheels and the chassis are mounted onto the plate. Finally, after checking that the shoe and the rolling base have no defects, the operators hook and unhook them together several times. This last step is essential to ensure that the system works correctly. All Slades orders, from the complete pack to the Shoes Alone and up to the accessories, are prepared, packed, and shipped from the Factory. The family handles shipments for the entire world on a daily basis.

It combines the unique system of its parent company, Flaneurz, with the need for accessibility. This patented invention, certified by expert skaters, allows Slades to offer total quality flexibility with a trendy look. Our Research & Development teams have ensured that the shoe is comfortable and flexible while walking.
For maximum safety, it is recommended to equip yourself with protective gear (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards...).
Upon receipt and before each use of a pair of Slades, it is necessary to check that:
- the trucks should be well tightened (14 mm socket wrench or open-end wrench)
- the wheels are properly tightened (13 mm socket wrench)
- the front stops are properly tightened (22 mm open-end wrench)
- the pivot nuts of the trucks should be properly tightened (13mm wrench)
