FARAWAY COLLECTION SPRING - SUMMER 2018

FARAWAY COLLECTION SPRING - SUMMER 2018

" Summer is experienced far away, towards new horizons "

The unknown intrigues. The wanderers adapt and play with the terrains that succeed one another beneath their feet. Their wake is adorned with traveler’s memories. As far as the eye can see, adventure awaits, lurking not far away. Insolent, the explorers glide. The escape begins. Deserted tawny dunes or sandy heaths crowned with palm groves, their silhouette blends into the setting suns. From snowy landscapes in the shade of tropical canopies, they stay the course, juggling between pastel shades and vibrant colors. Exhilarated, they are open to all the horizons of tomorrow.

Now, the first signs of summer are here. It’s time to decode travel books and itineraries… and to stroll to the edge of the foam or flirt with the winding mountain roads. Speed along, chase the mirages of dunes, or choose to weave between the cacti..

Four universes, four brands, like four cardinal points for a unique goal: To guide you, on roller skates, in the pleasure and discovery of multiple atypical horizons.

The new collection has arrived! Let yourself be carried away through our four travel universes and fall for a pair of detachable rollers. All our shoe models are available with rolling parts. Iconic or rolling parts Premium. The differences between these two ranges are explained to you just here. These models are also available in Change Your Shoes.

/VANS

Vans was founded in 1966 by Paul Van Doren, James Van Doren, and three other partners, all passionate about board sports. Designed by and for the skateboarding community since the late 60s, Vans quickly became a street icon and created a real enthusiasm among the wheeled community (Skate, Roller, BMX). The Vans/Roller chemistry has existed since the late 70s: it originated from a collaboration with roller manufacturer ACS, which produced the first non-detachable Roller Vans. The legendary Vans SK8-Hi, created in 1978, is inspired by the classic Old Skool. It is known and recognized for its iconic "side stripe," which is the distinctive mark of the Sk8-Hi. The Vans SK8-Hi Reissue Delft combines a uniform goodness through its vintage look, originally designed for skateboarding, with a modern aesthetic..

Today, the international skatepark Roller Girls group "Chicks in Bowls" has made the Vans Sk8-Hi the emblem of the comeback of quad skating in skateparks. This model from the new collection is available in the Delf colorway.

The French brand VEJA was founded in 2004. It offers sneaker models inspired by the world of volleyball from the 1980s. The materials used for the production of its models reflect the brand's fair and responsible mindset. The raw materials for the products come from organic and agro-ecological farming, and trade partnerships are established to minimize the impact on the environment.

The V-10 model was created to celebrate VEJA's 10th anniversary. The brand offers the appealing idea of no longer having to choose between design and commitment, and provides a pair of sneakers that transcends time. The V-10 model is available in

ADIDAS

The brand with the three stripes was founded in 1924 by the two Dassler brothers. Initially named after them "Dassler," the company took the name Adidas (a contraction of the co-founder Adolf "Adi" Dassler's name) when the two brothers stopped working together. Focused on the performance needs of athletic shoes, it was during the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games that Adidas became globally known.

Inspired by vintage tennis shoes, the Matchcourt Mid model features skate-specific details. It is available in the Black colorway. Updated to withstand extreme use by boardsports enthusiasts, this model is the perfect combo of style, modernity, and comfort during your skate sessions.

/FILA

Founded in 1911 by the Fila brothers, the Italian brand quickly gained recognition from top athletes for the quality of its materials and the technicality of its products. Ubiquitous in the world of tennis and "street culture" during the 80s and 90s, Fila has made a comeback since 2017 by celebrating retro with the Heritage line.

A great 90s basketball classic, the Fila Cage Socks has been modernized to offer increased comfort and durability. Released in 1993, this cult model made of split leather provides excellent ankle support thanks to its high-top design. The solid, monochrome rubber sole offers the perfect finishing touch. The special feature of this model: the blue, white, and red striped terry cloth at the back of the shoe brings a fresh aesthetic, recalling the socks and emblematic style of the brand.

An iconic 90s model, the T1 Mid Green is a shoe that combines style and technicality. This mid-top white leather tennis shoe, perforated at the front, features dark green details on the sides. The Italian flag, discreetly stitched onto the tongue, recalls the origin of this legendary tennis shoe. The T1 Mid is a high-performance shoe that is just as pleasant for walking as it is for skating. The thick rubber sole offers durability and grip.

REEBOK

Like many sneaker brands, Reebok draws its expertise from its contact with the athletes who wear their models. This British brand is as popular on the streets as it is in gyms. By ensuring the longevity of its best-sellers like the Reebok Freestyle, the brand has become a reference for its shoes designed for performance and suitable for the street.

Released in 1982, the Reebok Freestyle was the first athletic shoe designed for women. The shoe was created to adapt to fitness sessions. Two years after its release, the Reebok Freestyle accounted for more than half of the brand's sales. Outside of gyms, this shoe quickly spread to the streets for its casual style. Its leather upper, essential for proper foot support, is comfortable. Additionally, the EVA sole (one of the best shock-absorbing materials available) and the fleece lining cushion all the movements of the Freestyle wearer. The

CONVERSE

The story of this iconic brand begins in the early 20th century when Mills Converse founded his rubber-soled shoe company in Massachusetts. In 1917, heavily inspired by Mr. Converse's interest in basketball, the famous Converse All Star became a reference sneaker for the practice of this sport, with player Chuck Taylor making this model his shoe of choice. All the major teams clamored for the model, and Converse became the best-selling shoe in the United States in 1955.

Released in 1976, following the explosion of the All-Star Chuck Taylor model, the aesthetic of the Converse Pro Leather quickly set it apart from the sneakers then dominating the basketball courts. It is distinguished by its leather upper, at a time when fabric was still the standard for most models in use on the courts.
