This spring, Flaneurz ventured towards new horizons for an extended roller-skating weekend in Bordeaux. A cultural, lively city in perpetual effervescence, it hosted the launch of the new roller détachables Flaneurz collection. From Wednesday, May 17th to Sunday, May 20th, Flaneurz presented its new detachable roller skate models in Bordeaux. A pop-up store at Darwin, the ecosystem, offered the opportunity to discover the collections and purchase pairs. Many residents of the “Sleeping Beauty” came to clip on our Ready-to-Roll collection models for the first time...

 

/WEDNESDAY: DARWIN, THE ECOSYSTEM AND THE HAPPY HOURS 

 

On Wednesday, after setting up our pop-up store at Darwin, the ecosystem, we joined the regulars who came to dance to the catchy rhythms of Heures Heureuses. This Bordeaux event attracts music and dance enthusiasts during summer evenings. It was in this lively atmosphere that we officially launched the collection FARAWAY Spring-Summer 2018! At 7 PM, those registered for the roller dance workshop put on their skates provided by Flaneurz. The press, including the Bonbon Bordeaux are invited to try the discipline. They stroll alongside Justine Dubois (Miss Bordeaux 2018), Aurore Bird, My Lovely Blog and many bloggers from the region. During this roller workshop in Bordeaux, orchestrated by Florian Gravier, everyone wore their brightest smile.

/THURSDAY: OPENING OF THE FLANEURZ POP-UP STORE 

 

The first morning at Darwin, the ecosystem, made someone very happy as the first pair of the new collection found its owner. He was won over by the Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue - Delf model, and we can't wait to cross paths with him on the road…

The "know-how" table fascinates the most curious, and, Flaneurz technology impressed those unfamiliar with this roller system. Various spaces were set up to help you discover or rediscover the collection capsule Glitter, previous collections, and the new models. Between discovering the FARAWAY collection, trying on the skates, finding favorites, and discussions around différent ranges, The second day, centered around roller skating in Bordeaux, was filled with activities..

 

/POP-UP STORE ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY  

 

Designed as an ideal city, Darwin, L’Éco-système brings together music lovers, graffiti artists, passing travelers, and locals. Located in the former Niel barracks, along the Garonne River, Darwin, L’Éco-système regularly hosts roller events in Bordeaux. The Flaneurz crew quickly settles into this alternative space. You came from all walks of life to meet us, and we are thrilled to see that Flaneurz is crossing continents, just like the universe of its new collection. Stroll through the city streets without worrying about switching between walking and skating. We hope you’ll roll and walk from dawn till dusk this summer, with your new Flaneurz on your feet.

The caravans set up at the pop-up store immerse visitors into the four universes of the new collection… To end our stay in the Gironde region on a high note, we took part in one of the many evenings organized by the I.BOAT.Located in the Bassins à Flots district, this former ferry brings the city to life day and night: between artistic projects, music, and cinema, it has become an international reference for cultural programming. Just like at the evening event Flaneurz Skate Club 2 which had taken place at L'Aérosol in Paris, Flaneurz set up a corner at the entrance of the I.BOAT. There, you were able to admire two of the models from the Spring - Summer 2018 collection. We even crossed paths with some of you wearing Flaneurz Vans Port Royal, others in Dr. Martens Cavendish, or even Nike Air Force One. Then, the evening continued with the workshop hosted by Florian Gravier.

/LAST DAY OF THE FLANEURZ POP-UP STORE AT DARWIN 

 

Many of you are taking advantage of the last opportunity to discover roller skating in Bordeaux with Flaneurz. At 3 PM, the Onwheelz Roller Party, co-produiced by the Roller Bordeaux Moovens Darwin, L’Eco-system. Motivated, the participants confirm the status of the French roller party reference, Onwheelz.
