Summer in Paris is the opportunity to skate alongside the Clique during unusual events. Flaneurz collaborates with the REcyclerie and invites you three times.
After taking over Darwin for the launch of its new FARAWAY collection in Bordeaux, Flaneurz is setting up a residency for three summer evenings at a rehabilitated venue in Paris, La REcyclerie, for our "Apéro Patins" events.
Darwin is a former military barracks, renovated into an alternative ecosystem. Flaneurz opened a pop-up store there for four days, from Wednesday, May 17th to Sunday, May 20th
In the same vein, La REcyclerie is a train station building that was renovated four years ago. An eco-responsible third place, the REcyclerie now lives in tune with the seasons. Cafeteria, exchange space, conference or event room, the REcyclerie offers a diverse program centered around the values of sustainable development and ecology.
Flaneurz offers a new sustainable mode of transportation that is environmentally friendly. It is only natural that our two dynamic forces have joined together to make you dance all summer long in Paris, with roller skates on your feet..
Entry is free, you can come with your own roller skates. Just like for the event Flaneurz at l’hôtel W Paris - Opéra, Flaneurz provides its skate park. The rental of a pair for the evening is offered for €5 (cash or credit card).

/ROLLER DANCE WORKSHOPS
You are many to pass through the doors of the Hall of Lost Steps at the REcyclerie for the roller dance workshops preceding the skate happy hours. To help you skate confidently all summer in Paris, our collaboration with this responsible third place begins with learning the basics of skating (stance, braking) followed by an introduction to roller dance.
Starting at 6:30 PM, the strollers put on their roller skates to learn the steps of the choreography created by Florian Gravier, co-founder of Flaneurz and a member of the roller dance crew. SkateXpress. During these workshops, Flaneurz ensures the musical atmosphere before giving way to the artists.

/THE SKATE APERITIF X BORN BAD RECORDS
BORN BAD RECORDS is a contemporary rock label founded in 2006 by Jean-Baptiste Guillot. The majority of artists of this label are French. They offer a different kind of music and advocate for musical renewal.
At 6:30 PM, the skating happy hour begins. You start to groove to the tracks of Guillaume MARIETTA, de JC Vox Low et Forever Pavot. Some hit the dance floor while others prefer to enjoy the cocktails prepared by the members of the REcyclerie. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you glide through the room. Guillaume MARIETTA, makes you dance to its raw songs, with folk and pop tones. Forever Pavot immerses you in its universe between 70's cinema scenes and psychedelic pop. Finally, the duo of JC Vox Low accompanies your dances with a punk tinged with disco.
Throughout the evening, we cross paths with some of you wearing your Flaneurz: Adidas Top Ten, Nike Air Force One, or Veja V-10 Nautico Pekin on your feet. As for those who don't know us yet, you get to discover a few models of our "Ready-to-Roll" detachable roller skates.
Between improvised choreographies, improbable dances, and controlled slips, the evening was full of emotions.

/THE SKATE APERITIF X BLOCK PARTY
New edition of the skate happy hours at La REcyclerie July 19th : DJ WALKMAN, DJ KAKASHI et RATHA LAO offer us a hip-hop atmosphere. We were expecting many of you, and once again you showed up.
Whether you came to hang out, dance, or simply spend an evening with friends, we have been proud to welcome you and introduce you to our sliding sport. Laurence Sabas, Flaneurz ambassador , roller dance instructor and member of the group SkateXpress, has ensured the first part of the event. To the notes of “I will survive” from Gloria Gaynor, the twenty budding skaters gained confidence and were captivated by the rhythm of the music. Confident dance steps, shared choreography, you were impressive.
The workshop gave way to an equally festive evening with roller skates on. Summer in Paris has surprises in store for you! Once again, you enjoyed this unique place and concept.

/THE APÉRO SKATES X TOPPER HARLEY, VICIOUS SOUL, GONE WITH THE WEED
For the third time this summer, the Salle des Pas Perdus was transformed into a roller rink. Just minutes after we set up our skate fleet, you came to join us for this final summer workshop. Florian, wearing a pair of Custom Flaneurz, drew you into his world by offering an introduction to roller dance. The evening was officially underway: once again, you lit up the rink and made rapid progress as the hours went by. A few flâneurs joined us, surprising the dancers by clipping on their rolling bases.
To the tunes of "garage," punk, 60's, and rocksteady, the label Gone With The Weed the association Vicious Soul have proposed a universe highlighting underground players in rock music. On these energetic notes, we finished the month of August roller-skating by your side.
